Vesunna Museum:
In a bold architectural design by Jean Nouvel, the Vesunna site museum showcases the Roman origins of Périgueux, built over the remains of a grand Gallo-Roman residence — the Domus of Vesone.
Exceptional archaeological collections tell the story of the ancient city and the lifestyle of its inhabitants, the Petrocores.

Military Museum of Périgord:
The Military Museum of Périgord is officially recognized by the French Ministry of Culture as a “Musée de France.”
Founded in 1911 by veterans of the 1870 war, it was created to preserve memories, documents, uniforms, and equipment belonging to Périgord soldiers from all wars for over 110 years.
Over time, and thanks to daily donations, it has become a living museum illustrating the lives of soldiers through the conflicts of the 19th and 20th centuries.
It covers a period up to 1995, when the last military units left the city of Périgueux. Across three levels and 800 m² of exhibition space, you’ll find more than 13,000 artifacts.
